Presented here is a well-preserved and highly appealing example of the Rolex GMT-Master reference 1675, featuring the sought-after “Pepsi” bezel and dating to 1978, with a serial number in the 5.747.xxx range. The case has been polished in the past and today shows light wear consistent with use, while retaining well-defined proportions and crisp, clearly legible reference and serial numbers between the lugs. The caseback is correctly stamped 1675. The watch is distinguished by its rare MK3 radial dial, displaying an attractive “pumpkin” patina across the tritium hour markers and perfectly matching hands. The dial surface shows minor surface spotting, a characteristic commonly observed on radial dials from this period and appreciated by collectors as an authentic sign of age. The original Pepsi bezel insert presents with gentle fading, the red portion having shifted subtly toward a fuchsia tone, adding further vintage character. The watch is fitted with a slightly later Oyster bracelet, reference 78360 with correct 580 end links, showing only very light stretch. With no recorded service history, the movement is nonetheless in perfect working condition. A correct and characterful example of the classic GMT-Master 1675, combining a rare dial configuration, honest wear, and strong overall presentation, appealing to collectors of vintage Rolex sports models.
