A rare and elegant Breguet Perpetual Calendar reference 3050BA, dating to 1988, from the desirable A-series production, confirmed by Breguet via email. The 36 mm yellow gold case is in fantastic overall condition and appears to have been polished only once in the past. There is some visible oxidation around the crown and lugs, consistent with age, while the lugs remain thick, symmetrical, and very well preserved. The original dial is in excellent condition, showing only extremely light wear, and retains all the refined details expected from Breguet, including the beautifully balanced perpetual calendar display. The watch is fitted on a brown leather strap (non-Breguet) with its original yellow gold Breguet ardillon buckle. There is no known service history, however the watch is functioning wonderfully and keeping good time. The watch comes with its original presentation box as well as the corrector stylus. An increasingly collectible early Breguet perpetual calendar, combining classical proportions, strong originality, and the charm of late 1980s high horology.
