A superb example of the Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar reference 3940 in 18k white gold, originally sold new in Italy in 2007 and accompanied by its original papers. The case appears to remain unpolished and shows only light wear from use, retaining beautiful proportions and definition. The silver dial with English calendar indications is flawless, complemented by matching hands and presenting beautifully throughout. The watch is powered by the legendary calibre 240 automatic movement with micro-rotor. There is no known service history; however, the movement has been checked by our watchmaker and is performing well. The watch is fitted with a black Patek Philippe alligator strap in approximately 80% condition and its original 18k white gold deployant clasp. It is accompanied by its original papers, booklets, leather warranty holder, additional solid white gold caseback and corrector stylus, as well as the original long brown Patek Philippe factory box. The original certificate shows some light damage from humidity but remains well preserved and fully legible. Please note that the large presentation box is not included. A very attractive and remarkably complete late-production example of the iconic reference 3940, one of the most elegant and important perpetual calendars produced by Patek Philippe.
