This Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar ref. 3940J is an outstanding third-series example, originally sold by Beyer Zürich in October 1994. The watch remains in excellent overall condition and has been polished only once in the past, while retaining deep and clearly visible hallmarks, a testament to its careful ownership. The third-series dial is preserved in immaculate condition. The watch is fitted with a Patek Philippe brown alligator leather strap and a period-correct 18 ct yellow gold deployant clasp, believed to have been supplied as an optional accessory when the watch was originally purchased. In 2026, the watch underwent a complete service at Patek Philippe, including a full movement overhaul, replacement of the crown and hands, and a complete case cleaning. Importantly, the case was not polished during the service, preserving its original proportions and character.
