The present Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse Jumbo reference 3605, executed in 18K yellow gold and dating to circa 1975, is a superb example of one of the manufacture's most elegant and timeless dress watches. With its larger "Jumbo" proportions and iconic elliptical case inspired by the Golden Ratio, the reference 3605 remains one of the most desirable vintage Golden Ellipse models. The 18K yellow-gold case has been lightly polished in the past and is preserved in excellent overall condition, showing only very light wear. Importantly, the hallmark on the back of the case remains clearly visible, a reassuring indication of the case's excellent preservation. The highlight of this example is its magnificent original blue sunburst Sigma dial, preserved in outstanding condition. The rich metallic blue finish displays exceptional depth and changes beautifully with the light, while the original matching hands complete the harmonious appearance.
