A beautiful example of the Breguet Classique Regulator reference 5187BR/15/986 in 18k rose gold, accompanied by its original box and papers dated September 2012. The elegant 36mm rose gold case has been professionally polished and is presented in excellent overall condition, showing very little wear from use. The superb silvered dial features two different traditional hand-guilloché patterns, with the iconic Clous de Paris decoration on the main dial and a delicate checkerboard guilloché on the off-centred hour subdial at 12 o'clock. Inspired by the precision regulator clocks historically used by watchmakers to set and adjust their timepieces, this distinctive configuration separates the hour and minute indications, creating a particularly elegant and unusual display. The date indication is positioned at 6 o'clock, completing the beautifully balanced dial. Inside is the automatic Breguet calibre 591QSHD, offering approximately 38 hours of power reserve and featuring a beautifully decorated 18k rose gold oscillating weight visible through the sapphire caseback. The watch has undergone a complete overhaul and professional polishing, while the leather strap has been replaced with a new original Breguet strap. It is accompanied by its original presentation box and warranty papers dated September 2012. A particularly attractive example of the Classique Regulator, combining traditional Breguet guilloché craftsmanship, an unusual historical complication and the understated elegance of a rose gold case.
